Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst is expected to understand complex business problems, challenge assumptions, structure ambiguity, facilitate decisions, define business and solution requirements, and translate business objectives into clear and actionable outcomes for Product, UX/UI, Architecture, Engineering, QA, Delivery, and other stakeholders. 

The role owns the quality of business analysis across assigned initiatives from early discovery through implementation and solution evaluation. 

The successful candidate should be equally comfortable discussing a business operating model with senior stakeholders, facilitating a requirements workshop with users, analyzing a complex process, defining business rules and system behaviour, working through integrations with technical teams, and translating the outcome into delivery-ready requirements. 

What you'll do

• Lead discovery: find the real business problem, challenge assumptions, and run workshops with stakeholders

• Do AS-IS/TO-BE process analysis (BPMN), gap analysis, and help shape business cases and solution options

• Own requirements quality: business rules, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability

• Work with technical teams on systems, APIs, integrations and data (you don't need to be a developer)

• Support Agile delivery (refinement, sprints), UAT, and validating that solutions deliver value

• Mentor junior and mid-level BAs and help improve BA standards

• 6+ years of BA experience in tech, SaaS, digital transformation or enterprise systems

• Proven ownership of complex initiatives across the full lifecycle

• Experience with Agile, enterprise apps, integrations and APIs

• Bachelor's in MIS, CS, IT, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field

• Tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Visio/Lucidchart, Figma, Swagger/Postman, basic SQL

• Nice to have: CBAP, CCBA or PMI-PBA, and experience with government, regulated-sector or GCC/KSA projects
