Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Integrations Lead to oversee and execute integration strategies across our digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee), integration patterns, and system-to-system communication, and will lead efforts to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure integrations across internal and external systems. This role demands a strong technical background in APIs, middleware, and integration architecture, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with development, security, infrastructure, and business teams.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of APIs and integration solutions across business-critical platforms.
Own and manage the API lifecycle from planning, development, testing, deployment, to monitoring.
Design and enforce integration standards, best practices, and governance policies.
Manage and administer API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, WSO2).
Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving APIs, message queues, and third-party services.
Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.
Maintain thorough documentation for APIs, interfaces, and integration flows.
Support DevOps and CI/CD integration practices by enabling API-related automation and testing strategies.
Coordinate and guide junior developers and integration specialists when necessary.
Stay current with emerging integration technologies, tools, and trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Arabic Speaker is a must
Proven experience (5+ years) in systems integration, API development, and middleware solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or Azure API Management.
Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, JSON, XML, and secure API authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, webhooks, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, Go).
Solid grasp of integration security, rate limiting, throttling, caching, and monitoring.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot integration bottlenecks or failures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certification in Apigee, MuleSoft, or relevant integration technologies is a plus.
