Role Overview:

The Business Analysis Lead is responsible for overseeing the business analysis processes within the organization. This includes identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and ensure successful project execution. The lead will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring that the business requirements are effectively captured, analyzed, and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Allocation and Resource Management:

Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, ensuring proper allocation of resources based on project requirements and team members' strengths.

Understand the scope of all projects and assign the most suitable resources to ensure successful delivery.

Oversee the development and implementation of business analysis standards to maintain consistency and quality across projects.

2. Scope Management and Project Understanding:

Collaborate with project stakeholders to fully understand project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.

Secure project scopes by managing scope boundaries, handling change requests, and aligning with business objectives to avoid scope creep.

Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.

3. Business Analysis Standards and Methodologies:

Develop and enforce best practices and methodologies within the business analysis team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Regularly review and update business analysis processes, ensuring they meet current project needs and industry standards.

Foster continuous improvement within the team by identifying training needs and providing opportunities for professional development.

4. Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Engagement:

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure their requirements are met.

Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather and validate requirements, ensuring they align with project scopes.

Act as a bridge between business units and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives.

5. Project Support and Monitoring:

Work closely with project managers to align business analysis activities with project timelines, budgets, and goals.

Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that business analysis deliverables are on track and meet quality standards.

Provide post-implementation support to ensure that delivered solutions continue to meet business needs.

6. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

Ensure all business analysis deliverables meet established quality standards, reviewing and approving key documents and artifacts.

Lead efforts to refine and improve business processes, recommending and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Document and communicate changes, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and aligned with the updated processes.



Job requirements


Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 

-Saudi nationality is required.


Professional Experience:
- Proven experience in leading business analysis for complex projects in various industries.
- Experience with project management and business process improvement.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- High level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.

Certifications:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is a plus.
